CLP-550 YELLOW TONER CARTRIDGE

The toner cartridges are consumable components, which must be replaced at certain intervals, in order to be maintained top performance and to be avoided various print quality problems. The Samsung CLP-550 Color Laser Printer uses four toner cartridges: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. The laser printer is programmed to notify the user about any detected toner cartridge related abnormalities by displaying appropriate messages on the control panel LCD. However, some abnormalities cannot be detected by the built-in monitoring system of your Samsung CLP-550 Color Laser Printer. You should replace an installed toner cartridge(s) when any of the listed messages and print quality problems appears.

Toner rubs off the page

The message [Install [Color] Toner] is displayed – The Samsung CLP-550 Color Laser Printer does not detect the specified toner cartridge. You must make sure that the indicated toner cartridge is installed correctly. You must install a new [Color] toner cartridge if the problem persists.

[Invalid New Toner [Color]] or [Invalid Toner [Color]] is displayed – You have installed unsupported toner cartridge. Please replace the indicated toner cartridge with a new compatible one.

[Ready [Color] Low Toner] – The Samsung CLP-550 Color Laser Printer has detected that the specified toner cartridge is near the end of its useful life. You should replace the indicated toner cartridge soon.

[Replace [Color] Toner] – The indicated toner cartridge is empty. You must install a new [Color] toner cartridge.

In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must turn the Samsung CLP-550 Color Laser Printer off, wait 5 minutes, and then open the left cover. Next, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge by pulling it slowly towards you, and then take the new toner cartridge out of the plastic bag. After that, you must shake the new toner cartridge 7-8 times up and down to loosen the toner, and then remove the protective paper from the cartridge. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must slide it along the guides of the corresponding slot until it stops, and then close the left cover. Finally, you must turn on and test your Samsung CLP-550 Color Laser Printer.
