CS-2550 STAPLE CARTRIDGES

A new staple cartridge must be installed in your Copystar CS-2550 Laser Printer, when any of the listed and described below messages is displayed on the control LCD.

• ‘’Out of staples <> Please Add Staples’’ or ‘’Stapler Empty. Add Staples.’’ – Both of these messages are indicating that the installed staple cartridge has been exhausted. You have to install a new staple cartridge immediately after the appearance of this warning message on the control LCD of your monochrome laser printer.

• ‘’Cannot staple this size’’ or ‘’Cannot staple this pap. Size’’ – Please note that the installed staple cartridge is still useable in this situation. However, the paper size is not supported, and you will have to insert a supported size. Please note that 5 ½ x 8 ½ inches, A5R, and B5R, are all unsupported paper sizes.

The staple cartridge replacement in your Copystar CS-2550 Laser Printer includes the execution of a very simple procedure, which will not take you more than 5 minutes. You should always keep a spare set of staple cartridges for your laser device in stock, but please remember to store all consumables in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations.

Initially, you must grab the right side of the stapler front cover and pull towards you to open the cover. Then, you must take the staple holder out of the slot by pulling it carefully towards you. Now, you must hold the staple holder with your left hand and pull the exhausted staple cartridge out with your right hand to remove the exhausted component. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the new staple cartridge into the staple holder, but please make sure that its guide arrows are aligned with the marks on the holder. Once the new staple cartridge is firmly attached, you must remove the protective tape from the new staples, and then insert the staple holder into the stapler until it snaps into place. Finally, you must close the front cover of the stapler.
