DP-C213 YELLOW TONER CARTRIDGE

The Panasonic DP-C213 Color Laser Printer is equipped with a highly sophisticated system, which is constantly monitoring the status of all four toner cartridges. When the system detects an abnormality in any of the installed toner cartridges you will be notified with one of the listed below warning messages.

• ‘’U13-1: LOW TONER (Y)’’
• ‘’U13-2: LOW TONER (M)’’
• ‘’U13-3: LOW TONER (C)’’
• ‘’U13-4: LOW TONER (BK)’’

One/several of the above messages will appear, when the toner level in one/several toner cartridges becomes too low. The recommended action in this situation is a toner cartridge replacement. However, you may decide to continue using your DP-C213 with the nearly empty toner cartridge/cartridges, which will lead to the complete consumption of the remaining toner, resp. to the disabling of all printing/copying operations. When the toner in any of the installed toner cartridges runs completely out, you will see one of the listed below messages.

• ‘’U13-1: NO TONER (Y)’’
• ‘’U13-2: NO TONER (M)’’
• ‘’U13-3: NO TONER (C)’’
• ‘’U13-4: NO TONER (BK''

In order to avoid the appearance of the above messages, resp. non-operational periods, you should always keep a spare set of toner cartridges for your Panasonic DP-C213 Color Laser Printer.

The toner cartridge replacement in your Panasonic DP-C213 Color Laser Printer is a very simple procedure, which won`t take you more than 10 minutes for complete execution. You must start the replacement procedure by opening the front cover of the printer. After that, you must locate the exhausted toner cartridge/cartridges and turn it left to unlocked position. Please note, the installed toner cartridges are arranged in the following order (left-right): Yellow (‘’Y’’), Magenta (‘’M’’), Cyan (‘’C’’), and Black (‘’BK’’). Now, you must take the exhausted toner cartridge out of the printer by pulling it slowly towards you, but be careful not to shake the cartridge, because the remaining toner (if available) might leak. Once the empty/exhausted toner cartridge is out of the printer, you must unpack and then shake the new cartridge 15 times vertically, in order to evenly distribute and loosen the toner inside. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the protective tape from the cartridge and install the new toner cartridge into the toner cartridge slot by slowly sliding it in, with the arrow (stamped on the cartridge) pointing towards the slot, until it stops.  Finally, you must turn the new toner cartridge right to locked position and close the front cover of your Panasonic DP-C213 Color Laser Printer.
