When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Lexmark E320 Laser Printer?

The standard toner cartridge installed in your Lexmark E320 Laser Printer yields approx. 3,000 pages at 5% coverage. You can extend the useful life of the installed toner cartridge by selecting lighter Print Darkness setting.
The Lexmark E320 Laser Printer is equipped with six control panel indicators. The laser printer uses these indicators to notify/warn the user about detected abnormalities. You should replace the installed toner cartridge if any of the listed and explained indications and print quality problems appears.

The [Ready/Data] and the [Toner Low] indicators are on – The toner in the installed toner cartridge is getting low. How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Lexmark E320 Laser Printer

Initially, you must open the front cover of your Lexmark E320 Laser Printer by pulling the finger tab gently towards you. Then, you must remove the used toner cartridge by pulling it straight up. After that, you must remove the protective bag from the new toner cartridge, and then remove the plastic piece and the protective foam from the new component. Now, you must loosen the toner by shaking the new cartridge several times from side to side, and then align the colored labels on either side of the new component with the corresponding labels on the toner-cartridge slot. Overview:

The Lexmark E320 laser printer isn’t the fastest laser printer on the market, but offers good printing speeds for the price. It can print 16 pages per minute. One drawback of this model is the graphic quality is not very good.

Pros:

The Lexmark E320 is outstanding for personal use and it can be connected via USB or parallel port. This unit is not built for heavy use. It has a monthly duty cycle of only 10,000 pages and smaller paper capacity of 150 sheets makes it impractical for use by very many users. Not matter what media type you are using it will get the job done. It supports cards, envelopes, transparencies, and labels.

Toner cartridges are easy to remove and replace. High yield toner cartridges have a capacity of 6,000 pages. The cost per page of printing with this unit is extremely low.

For a personal computer it offers above average printing speeds. Text quality is sharp, though graphics and photo quality leave a lot to be desired.

There is also a toner save mode that will help to reduce the cost per page and save you more money. The Lexmark E320 is an affordable personal printer that offers above average features. You won’t be disappointed with what it has to offer for the price.

Cons:

The Lexmark E320 lacks networking capabilities. Another shortcoming of this unit is that it lacks finishing options. The standard version of this printer only has a 150 sheet paper capacity. This is extremely limited, even just for personal use.
