Overview:

The full-featured HP OfficeJet 7130 is ready to meet the demands of your office from printing documents to creating brochures. With the OfficeJet 7130 you get double-sided printing, an automatic document feeder (ADF), a fax, a scanner, and a copier. It will run you around $500, but only offers average print quality. Setting up the HP OfficeJet 7130 isn’t easy either.

Pros:

The HP OfficeJet 7130 comes with an easy to use control panel. On the keypad you will find options for the Menu, Enter, Cancel, Tray Select buttons, and contrast controls.
Paper handling capabilities for the HP OfficeJet 7130 are excellent. It has a maximum media capacity of 400 sheets. Plus it supports a variety of media types which include greeting cards, transparencies, envelopes, labels, and plain paper.
With the HP OfficeJet 7130 you get a lot of features. It comes with both an ADF and duplexer. Furthermore it is compatible with a variety of memory cards such as CompactFlash, SmartMedia, and memory sticks from digital cameras.
The HP OfficeJet 7130 can be connected with a USB or parallel port. One drawback is that you cannot connect the printer to a Mac and PC at the same time.

 

Cons:

One of the drawbacks of the HP OfficeJet 7130 is its large footprint. It is 17 by 20 by 13 inches. Color output with the HP OfficeJet 7130 could be better as well. Images show signs of dithering and colors are not as vivid as one would like.
