C3200 COLOR TONER CARTRIDGES SET

Your printer is equipped with a set of four toner cartridges, which are consumable components with a certain, limited printing resource. Therefore, your OKIDATA C3200 features a highly sophisticated built-in monitoring system, which will display an appropriate message on the LCD of your computer (if your laser printer is correctly connected to a computer), when one or several of the installed toner cartridges is/are near the end of its/their useful life. Additionally, the built-in system will turn on the [TONER EMPTY] LED, when there is a toner cartridge, which is near the end of its useful life. Please note that the [TONER EMPTY] LED illustrates six black dots in pyramidal order with an arrow pointing toward the dots, and it is located between the [PAPER] and the [ERROR] LEDs/indicators.

Initially, you must switch off your printer for ten minutes, in order to allow the fuser unit to cool down. After that, you must open the top cover of your OKIDATA C3200 by pressing its lock release button, and then unlock the exhausted toner cartridge by pulling its blue lock release lever towards you. Please note that you will have to pull the blue lock release lever to a vertical position (center), if the exhausted component is a starter toner cartridge. Now, you must pull the right end of the exhausted cartridge upwards, slide the cartridge to the right side of the printer, and then remove it from the slot/drum unit. Please be aware that you must avoid touching the green portion of the drum unit, which is installed under the toner cartridge. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it 8-10 times to loosen the toner. After that, you must remove the protective tape from the new toner cartridge, and then insert the left end of the cartridge into the appropriate drum unit. Please note that the installed toner cartridges must be arranged in the following order, from the rear side of the printer: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black. Then, you must push the right end of the new toner cartridge down until it is firmly inserted into the corresponding drum unit. Once the new toner cartridge is inserted, you must lock it into place by pushing its blue lock release lever forward. Please note that the cartridge's shutter will be also opened when you lock it into place with the blue lever. Finally, you must close the top cover of your OKIDATA C3200 laser printer.
