When do I Replace a Waste Toner Container in the Ricoh Aficio CL2000N Laser Printer?

The built-in system of your Ricoh Aficio CL2000N Laser Printer will display a message on the control LCD, once it detects that the installed waste toner container has been exhausted. You will see the following advance notification ‘’Waste Toner is Almost Full’’ displayed on the control LCD, when the remaining free capacity of the installed waste toner container drops under 5%. You have to purchase/prepare a new waste toner container soon after the initial appearance of the warning message. The following error message ‘’Replace Waste Toner’’ will displayed, when the system detects that the installed container is full/exhausted. You must install the prepared new waste toner container immediately after the appearance of the error message on the control LCD.

How to Install a Waste Toner Container in the Ricoh Aficio CL2000N Laser Printer

You must start the replacement procedure by turning off the power of your Ricoh Aficio CL2000N Laser Printer, and then open the right cover. After that, you must unpack the new waste toner container, and then unlock the exhausted component by sliding its green lever to the labeled ‘’unlocked’’ position (to the right). Please avoid sliding the green lever of the exhausted waste toner container back to the ‘’locked’’ position. Now, you must remove the exhausted waste toner container from the laser printer by carefully pulling it out of the slot, and then insert the unpacked new component into the slot. In the next step, you must lock the new waste toner container by moving its green lever to the left, and then finalize the replacement procedure by closing the right cover.
