This Toner Cartridge prints 30000 pages with an average 5% page coverage. The amount of pages can vary depending upon the amount of ink printed onto each page. (5% page coverage is a standard Savin specification)

This product comes with a 6 month Warranty against any defects (including free replacement). We stand behind our products 100%, as these are not manufactured by Savin.

Why toner? Why not call it ink? Regular ink dries quickly, which is why cartridges for inkjet printers do not last long. Laser Printers use toner, which is ink in the form of powder. A sealed toner cartridge can be stored for 2+ years prior to usage.

When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Savin 8045 Black & White Multifunction Printer?

The toner cartridge installed in your Savin 8045 Black & White Multifunction Printer must be replaced when the message [Toner is almost empty <> Replace toner bottle] appears on the LCD screen.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Savin 8045 Black & White Multifunction Printer

Initially, you must open the front cover of the printer, and then raise the handle of the toner cartridge holder. After that, you must unlock the toner cartridge holder by pushing the green release lever to the right, and then pull the toner cartridge holder away from the main unit until it stops. Now, you must press the used toner cartridge towards the main unit, and then remove it. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it several times horizontally to loosen and redistribute the toner inside. Once you have finished redistributing the toner, you must remove the protective black cap from the front side of the new toner cartridge, and then insert the new component into the holder. Next, you must push the toner cartridge holder towards the Savin 8045 Black & White Multifunction Printer until it locks into place, and then lower the handle. Finally, you must close the front cover of the multifunction black & white printer.

The Savin 8045 is well built and reliable. Plus it is easy to navigate thanks to a touch-screen control panel.
