Once the message [SLIDE THE FINISHER AWAY FROM THE COPIER AND ADD STAPLES] appears on the LCD screen, you must grasp the release lever and slide the finisher away from the Sharp AR-336 Laser Printer. After that, you must turn the stapler unit upwards to gain access to the staple box, and then squeeze the two tabs located on the right to release the staple box. Now, you must remove the staple box by pulling it straight towards you, and then remove the used staple cartridge from the box. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must insert the new staple cartridge into the box until it locks into place, and then remove the tape from the new staples. Once the new staple cartridge is installed, you must insert the staple box back into the stapler unit, and then return the stapler unit to its original position. Finally, you must slide the Finisher AR-FN1N towards the main unit until it latches into place.

When the message [ADD STAPLES] appears on the LCD, you must open the stapler cover, and then unlock the exhausted staple cartridge by lifting the green release lever. After that, you must remove the empty staple cartridge from the stapler unit, and then insert a sheet of paper into the input tray of the finisher. Now, you must unpack the new staple cartridge, and then pull the first staple to the tip of the cartridge. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must slide the new staple cartridge into the stapler unit until it clicks into place, and then close the staple cover. Finally, you must wait while the finisher initializes the new staple cartridge (it will strike three times), and then remove the sheet of paper from the tray.
