When do I Replace a Toner Cartridge in the Xerox DocuPrint N2125 Laser Printer

The Xerox DocuPrint N2125 Laser Printer features a built-in system, which is constantly monitoring the toner cartridge. Once the toner level in the toner cartridge runs low, you will see the following message ‘’TONER LOW’’ appearing on the printer`s control panel display. The recommended action in the above situation is a toner cartridge replacement. If you decide to continue using the printer with the nearly empty cartridge, the remaining toner will be consumed very soon and then all printing operations will be blocked. The printing quality will be also affected, when the toner level becomes low, and you may notice image quality issues, such as light/faint prints, blank prints, spot deletions, vertical line deletions, horizontal line deletions, vertical dark streaks, and unfortunately many more. Herein, you should purchase a new toner cartridge and replace the exhausted one.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the Xerox DocuPrint N2125 Laser Printer

Initially, you must remove the enveloper feeder (if installed) and any remaining paper from the output bin and the multi bypass feeder. Then, you must close the multi bypass feeder and completely open the front cover of your Xerox DocuPrint N2125 Laser Printer. After that, you must remove the exhausted toner cartridge by slowly lifting it up and unpack the new one afterwards. Please note, the toner cartridge must not be exposed to direct sunlight or even strong artificial light for more than 10 minutes, otherwise the photosensitive imaging drum will be permanently damaged. Now, you must loosen the toner inside the new cartridge by shaking it 9-10 times vertically, and then remove the protective/sealing tape from the new cartridge. Once the new toner cartridge is prepared, you must install it into the printer by inserting the cartridge`s two projecting parts into the printer`s guide channels. Finally, you must close the front cover and reinstall the enveloper feeder to your Xerox DocuPrint N2125 Laser Printer.
