The built-in system of your Ricoh Aficio SP-C410DN Laser Printer is constantly monitoring the status of the four installed toner cartridges. The system will display one of the listed and described below messages, when a toner cartridge related abnormality occurs.

  ‘’Add toner: <K>’’ – The toner level of the installed Black toner cartridge is insufficient. You must install a new Black toner cartridge immediately after the appearance of this error message on the control display. Please be aware that all print/copy functions of your laser printer will be disabled, until a new Black toner cartridge is installed.

  ‘’Add toner: <C>’’ - The toner level of the installed Cyan toner cartridge is insufficient. You must install a new Cyan toner cartridge immediately after the appearance of this error message on the control display. Please be aware that all color print/copy functions of your laser printer will be disabled, until a new Cyan toner cartridge is installed.

  ‘’Add toner: <M>’’ - The toner level of the installed Magenta toner cartridge is insufficient. You must install a new Magenta toner cartridge immediately after the appearance of this error message on the control display. Please be aware that all color print/copy functions of your laser printer will be disabled, until a new Magenta toner cartridge is installed.

  ‘’Add toner: <Y>’’ - The toner level of the installed Yellow toner cartridge is insufficient. You must install a new Yellow toner cartridge immediately after the appearance of this error message on the control display. Please be aware that all color print/copy functions of your laser printer will be disabled, until a new Yellow toner cartridge is installed.

  ‘’Loading toner’’ – The system is loading toner into the drum units. You must wait for the automatic procedure to be executed.

  ‘’Independent-supply toner’’ – This error message indicates that one or several of the toner cartridges are incorrectly installed or missing. Please reinstall the toner cartridges.

You should always keep a spare set of toner cartridges for your Ricoh Aficio SP-C410DN Laser Printer in stock, but please remember to store all consumables in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Please follow the instructions given below to install new toner cartridges in your color laser printer.

Initially, you must open the top cover of your Ricoh Aficio SP-C410DN Laser Printer, and then locate the exhausted toner cartridge. Please note that the installed toner cartridges are arranged in the following order, from the rear side of the laser printer: Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, and Black.
