You can check the status of the installed fuser assembly unit by selecting [MAINTENANCE] – [REMAIN FUSER]. The installed fuser assembly unit should be replaced if any of the listed indications persists.

How to Install a Fuser Assembly Unit in the Brother HL-6050 Laser Printer

Initially, you must switch the Brother HL-6050 Laser Printer off, and then wait at least 30 minutes to allow the installed fuser assembly unit to cool down. After that, you must unplug the two fuser connectors, and then remove the two screws that fix the exhausted component into place. Now, you must remove the exhausted fuser assembly unit by pulling it straight towards you, and then unpack the replacement component. Finally, you must install the new fuser assembly unit by executing the current procedure in reverse order, and then reset the fuser counter by selecting [RESET PARTS LIFE] – [FUSER UNIT].
