This laser printer toner cartridge prints 3500 pages, which is more than the standard offering by HP. Pages estimated averaged at 5% page coverage (5% of the page is covered by ink). NOTE: Nearly all printer manufacturers (including HP) base their ink/toner cartridge yields on 5% page coverage.

Start by loading the original with the side that you want to scan facing up. Then adjust the media guides. Finally press the SCAN key on the scanner or press the COPY button to copy.
How to Print Transparencies or Labels with the HP LaserJet 1200
The first step is to open the straight-through output door. Then load a page in the input tray or load multiple pages. Now adjust the media guides. Next use the optimizing feature on the PAPER tab. Then choose OPTIMIZE FOR and select either transparency or labels in the drop down box. Now you can print transparencies or labels. It is important to remove transparencies and labels once they are printed so that they do not stick together.

The first step is to click START. Then click PROGRAMS. Afterwards select HP LaserJet 1220 Series. Next select TOOLS. Finally click HP LaserJet Device Configure.
Installing the HP JetDirect 175X Hardware for the LaserJet 1200
Start by using the network cable to connect the 175X to the network. Then use the USB cable to connect the 175X to your machine. Afterwards connect the power module to the print server. Then plug the module’s power cord into an outlet. The 10 and 100 LED should light up green telling you that there is a network connection. You should see the power/status LED blinking. The next step is to print a configuration page using the TEST button. The optional clip can be used to attach the print server to your printer.

How to Install a Toner Cartridge in the HP LaserJet 1200
In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must open the door of the toner cartridge compartment, and then remove the exhausted toner cartridge. After that, you must unpack the new toner cartridge, and then shake it several times from side to side. Now, you must remove the protective tape from the new toner cartridge, and then insert the new component into place. Finally, you must close the cover of the toner cartridge compartment.
How to Install a Fuser Unit in the HP LaserJet 1200
Initially, you must switch the HP LaserJet 1200 off, and then unplug the power cord. After that, you must remove the left and back covers, and then remove the right and top covers. Now, you must remove the three screws from the right fuser plate, and then remove the bracket. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the three screws from the left fuser plate, and then remove the left bracket. Once the left bracket is removed, you must remove the left and right fixing screws, and then unplug the cable connector of the exhausted fuser unit. Next, you must unplug the five connectors from the ECU, and then unplug the spade connector. After that, you must remove the screw from the paper delivery sensor, and then remove the paper delivery sensor. Finally, you must remove the exhausted fuser unit from the HP LaserJet 1200, and then install the replacement component by executing the current procedure in reverse order.
How to Install a Fan Assembly in the HP LaserJet 1200
In the first step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the left, back, right, and top covers. After that, you must unplug the five connectors from the ECU, and then unwind all cable connections. In the next step of the replacement procedure, you must remove the two screws that secure the exhausted fan assembly to the main unit, and then remove the exhausted component from the HP LaserJet 1200. Finally, you must unpack the new fan assembly, and then install it by executing the current procedure in reverse order.
