RICOH AFICIO 2232C CYAN TONER CARTRIDGE

The built-in monitoring system of your Ricoh Aficio 2232C Laser Printer is constantly monitoring the toner level of the installed toner cartridges. The system will display a warning message and it will turn on the [Add Toner] indicator, when a new toner cartridge/cartridges must be installed. All of these indications are listed and described below.

  ‘’Toner is almost empty. XXX’’ is displayed on the control LCD – The indicated toner cartridge is nearly empty. You should purchase and prepare a new toner cartridge of the indicated color soon after the initial appearance of this advance notification, so you will be able to install it immediately after the appearance of the next (listed below) message/indication on the control LCD.

  ‘’No toner: XXXX, XXXX’’ is displayed, and the [Add Toner] indicator is ON – This is an indication of a non-operational mode caused by a completely exhausted toner cartridge. You must install a new toner cartridge of the indicated color, in order to restore the normal functionality of your Ricoh Aficio 2232C Laser Printer. Please note that the [Add Toner] indicator is located above the [Paper] indicator, and it is illustrating six black dots with an arrow pointing towards the dots.

You should always keep a spare set of toner cartridges for your Ricoh Aficio 2232C Laser Printer in stock, but please remember to store all consumables in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations.

Initially, you must open the upper right cover of your color laser printer. Then, you must unlock the exhausted toner cartridge from the corresponding slot by detaching the locking hook. At this stage of the installation, you must remove the exhausted/empty toner cartridge from the main unit by pulling it upwards, and then unpack the new toner cartridge. Please avoid shaking the exhausted toner cartridges. Now, you must shake the new toner cartridge 7-8 times horizontally, and then insert it into the corresponding slot until the locking hook snaps on the metal contact area, but please avoid touching the metal contact area of the new component. Finally, you must close the upper right cover of your Ricoh Aficio 2232C Laser Printer, and then print a test page.
